Got a covid test today. Had to swab myself which was weird. I lucked out and somehow got an appointment. Have three family members trying to get one and they can’t. It’s a total clusterfuck.

I assume that means you’re not getting the test where they stick the swab so far up you nose it comes  out the back of the skull: I don’t think any normal person could do that to themselves.

This was a PCR test, but you only have to put the swab an inch into your nasal cavity. I had also read about having to stick it way in there and was freaked out by the idea. They must have revised the swabbing procedures.

Sure anyone can get a test. It might be like an eye test or an alg ebra test though.

Lucky bastard! I got the deep swab before my surgery. Was not fun, 0/10, would not recommend. Then again a neighbor has COVID and I think I’d put up with the test before I’d want actual COVID.

I’m really lucky because I managed to get an appointment for a free test . Apparently it was the last available for a while in the whole city.
